Every child will receive an award for participation
Each judging group (Elementary, Middle, and High) will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner
The entire fair will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner
If funding permits, there will be a cash prize for the winners. This depends upon enrollment and will not be determined until the day of the fair.
Scoring is based upon a rubric.
In the event of a tie, the judging panel will vote for a winner.
The judging panel will be made up of a homeschool parent who does not have a child in the fair, a scientist, and a prominent citizen from the community.
